Established in 2009, Dynasty Marine Farm runs an eco-friendly business cultivating one of the easiest to grow and most profitable plants, one which we call the ocean’s gold mine, “Seaweed”. The suitable climate and great location of our farm in Semporna, Sabah are two primary factors that contribute to the production of our high quality seaweed.
Under the management of DMF, the seaweed enterprise in Semporna has undergone rapid expansion over the past three years. As a result, we have become the largest privately owned seaweed farm in Asia, utilising the latest concepts, technology and systems to cultivate the Eucheuma Cottonii.
In 2011, we planted 15,000 lines in 1,300 acres of sea land, resulting in harvests of 800 metric tonnes of high quality seaweed per month.

DMF’s success can be attributed to the input and advice we receive from Universiti Malaysia Sabah, Sabah's Fisheries Department, SIRIM and the Malaysian Marine Police Force. Of paramount importance, however, is the passionate contribution of our very own Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Thompson Wong, a seaweed expert, and his team of 500 workers managing the farm.

Dynasty Marine Farm Ltd is a fast growing and well-planned seaweed farming company and has grown to become Asia’s largest seaweed farming enterprise. Our company frequently conducts research and analysis regarding the cultivation of seaweed and the development of the seaweed farm. Under a professional management team, our company has successfully achieved our planned projects for the years 2009 to 2011.

By 2012, we are seeking to expand the size of our seaweed farm to cover 3000 acres. |

By 2013, this is projected to increase to 4500 acres. |

By year 2014, we will set up our own carrageenan manufacturing plant that will be able to produce up to 1000M/T of carrageenan (SRC & RC), by which we aspire to be the largest carrageenan manufacturing plant in Malaysia. |
